Descriptive text of the application "Biati"Its time to get involved in the protection of the environment!
"Biati" is the first interactive mobile application of the National Observatory for the Environment and Sustainable Development (ONEDD); which allows citizens to denounce and report all acts harmful to the environment, at the national level.As soon as you detect an environmental crime such as a wild dump, polluted water courses, a noise nuisance or an air pollution (smoke), you can report it via several media (smartphone, web form, Email and toll free number) .Indeed, at the time of the declaration appears a small form in which, you mention the address (location) of the anomaly, the type of pollution, the description and the photo; in one click your declaration will be sent and notified to the relevant authorities in order to process it.Designed and jointly developed by the National Observatory of the Environment and Sustainable Development, and Spider Network, this platform for reporting and monitoring environmental anomalies in Algeria seeks to protect and improve the quality of the environment, according to the requirements of the Algerian State.    In order to strengthen the relationship between citizens and decision makers, "BIATI" offers you the possibility to connect to your account (either by application or website www.biatouwatani.dz), to benefit from a personalized follow-up of all your statements reported in real time, and will be grouped and filed on the same account.The National Observatory of the Environment and Sustainable Development (ONEDD), The Ministry of Environment and Renewable Energies (MEER) and the services of local authorities, Thank you for your participation in the improvement of environmental quality of ours Country.Features of "Biati":• Exploitable in French and Arabic language.• Operational in the Algerian national territory.• It exploits some features of your smartphone (GPS and 3G / 4G connection)• Requires the creation of an account for tracking alerts in real time.• The information transmitted and collected via "Biati" will constitute a working document for the services responsible for dealing with the offense in situ.• Reported discrepancies can be classified under one of the following types of pollution:- Atmospheric pollution :Occurs by the presence in the air of particles or harmful gases or not, which cause, depending on their concentration, any inconvenience.   - Pollution of the water: presents itself by the presence in the water (oceans, seas, lakes, sebkha ...
etc.) Toxic elements that cause the destruction of fauna and flora.
It can make it unfit for consumption or bathing.- Soil pollution: refers to all forms of pollution affecting any type of soil (agricultural, forestry, urban, etc.).
It can be of industrial or agricultural origin.- Noise pollution: any noise nuisance caused by human activities, when they exceed the thresholds of harmfulness for auditory acuity, the health or the balance of Ecosystems.- Visual pollution: visual impairments that affect the landscape and the living environment.• Environmental offenses may not be handled (processed) instantly.
